What are the three most important rights guranteed in the bill of rights?
In your opinion, what are the three most important rights granted to you in the bill of rights? I do not mean which amendments i mean specific rights such as the right to a speedy trial, etc. Why do you think so?

- I don't know the bill of rights but I'm sure the Bush administration is working on taking them away right as we speak.
- Due Process; Equal Protection; Religious Expression
- Freedom of religion. Even if it is *gasp* Chrisitanity is the one I think is the most forgotten. I think they're all great though, and Bush isn't trying to get rid of them. Geez. Is everything his fault?
- 1) Freedom of speech 2) Freedom of the press 3) The right to bare arms. Edit: but they are all important to our society.
- Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Press, and Freedom of Releigion
- 1 the freedom of speech 2 The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated 3 Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted
- I don't believe you can pick three-they're ALL important Read it here http://usinfo.state.gov/usa/infousa/facts/funddocs/billeng.htm
- Freedom of speech is the most fundamental. If we are not free to speak out against torture, unjust wars, wire tapping or imprisonment without trial, then the others don't matter. Bush started removing freedom of speech when he took office, by creating 'free speech zones' that were far enough away and hidden from the media that the world wouldn't know Americans disagreed with his policies. Funny, when I grew up I thought the WHOLE of America was a free speech zone - but apparently not the area within one mile of the president.
