How do I obtain licensing to become a full time flea market vendor in North Carolina?
My boyfriend and I want to start selling products at the flea market full time. We know we need a tax ID number from the IRS, but don't know what other sort of licensing (or other things) we will need to start the business. What licenses do we need, who do we contact about obtaining them, and how much do they cost? We will want to be able to order wholesale products, etc. Any information would be appreciated.

- Greetings, Here you go! http://www.nccommerce.com/en/BusinessServices/StartYourBusiness/BusinessLicensesPermits/ Alethea Anderson http://www.miabellasoy.com
- All you need is to go to your local state tax office or online and fill out their sales and use tax form. That will in turn inform you if you will be paying not only state but county and city tax. All of which will be payed at the same time to the state.
- You contact your department of revenue, they are the ones to set you up in business with the licensing. You can also talk with your local SBA (small business administration) or SCORE office in the phone book, they're there to help new businesses get off the ground, they're free, and they know what you need to do.
